Thelma “Gladys” Gossett, age 89, formally of Spring Place, passed away in Sylacauga, Ala., on March 13, 2021.
Gladys is preceded in death by her husband, John Gossett; parents, Bill and Janie Timms; brothers, J.B, Marshall, and Bill Timms; and sister, Irene Stanley.
She is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Tim and Tina Gossett, of Varnell, Jeff and Stephanie Gossett, of Jacksonville Ala.; grandchildren, Sarah Kate and Caroline Gossett; several nieces and nephews also survive.
A private family funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 17, 2021, at 1 p.m. at Shawn Chapman Funeral Home with Chuck Smith officiating. Interment was at the Casey Springs Cemetery.
