Mrs. Ruth Willis, age 92 of Chatsworth, entered into Eternal Rest on Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at Chatsworth Healthcare Center surrounded by her family.
She was a member of Homeland Baptist Church. Among her many virtues, she loved to make people laugh. She was a waitress and cook for many years at Carlton’s Pharmacy in Chatsworth.
The family would like to extend a warm thank you to the nurses and staff at Chatsworth Healthcare Center for their many years of service to Mrs. Willis.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dyar Willis; parents, John and Nettie Roe; brothers, Hoyt, Roy, and Ernest Roe; sisters, Myrtle Jones and Nelle Wilson; son, Mike Willis.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Billy and Claudette Willis of Dawnville, GA; daughters and sons-in-law, Nancy and Don Templin of Jefferson City, TN, Cindy and Kendall Causby of Chatsworth, and Lisa and Tim Pritchett of Crandall, GA; grandchildren, Daryl (Michelle) Templin, Brian (Kristy) Templin, Chris (Angela) Willis, Billy Jr. (Betty) Willis, Kelley Hall, Stephanie Willis, Dewayne Willis, April (Kris) Laney, Angie (Marissa Snow) Causby, Tony (Kristin) Causby, Marcus Pritchett, and Macy (Zach) Chastain; several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and special friends also survive.
Funeral services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Ruth Willis will be held on Monday, April 3, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. from the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Willis and Rev. Harold Poteet officiating. Interment will follow at Holly Creek Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, April 3, 2023 from 3:00 p.m. until 6 p.m.
