Ramblers offer NM a strong challenge

Coming off a game where they surrendered 361 yards rushing, the North Murray Mountaineers now have to take on what may the best ground attack in Region 6-AAA.
Quarterback Jaylon Ramsey (967 yards rushing) and running back Jamario Clements (674 yards) have led the LaFayette Ramblers to a 4-3 record in region play, 4-5 overall.
A win at home on Friday would assure North Murray of at least third place in the region (second, if LFO were to upset Adairsville.)
LaFayette did not play Rockmart last Friday due to COVID-19 quarantine restrictions.
Quarterback Ramsey has also passed for 662 yards and eight touchdowns. His favorite receiver is small-but-fast Junior Barber (16 catches).
Defensively, the top producers are safety Brent Minor (68 tackles), linebackers Hunter Deal and Ben Maanum and defensive end David Patterson.
LaFayette had held the lead in three of its five losses, only to fall behind in the second half.

Game tiome is 7:30 p.m.
