Paulette Waters Townsend, age 62, of Chatsworth, passed away on Friday, May 1, 2020, at the Hospice of Chattanooga Care Center.
Paulette was a member of Spring Place Baptist Church and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Pauline and Leonard Waters, and sister, Betty Hammett.
Survivors include her husband, Ted Townsend of Chatsworth; daughters and sons-in-law, Tara and Heath Jones of Chatsworth, Staci and Ryan Kiefaber of Dahlonega, and Shelley Ingram of Chatsworth; brothers and sisters-in-law, Tommy and Becky Waters of Grafton, VA, Johnny and Kathi Waters of Chatsworth, and Ricky and Karen Waters of Dalton; sisters and brothers-in-law, Susan Hunt of Marietta, Debbie and Mike Coleman of Dalton, Sandra and Gus Hauser of Chattanooga, and Ronnie Hammett of North Augusta, SC; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Pat and Terri Townsend of Chatsworth; grandchildren, Jillian and Kenzie Jones, Elliot and Davy Kiefaber, and Annsley, Griffin, and Bailynn Ingram; and many loved nieces and nephews.
A private family service was held Tuesday, May 5, 2020, at 3 p.m. from the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Cochran officiating.
The family held a private viewing Tuesday from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. at the funeral home.
Inurnment will follow at a later date in Serenity Hills Memorial Park.
