Mrs. Norma Jean Anderson, also known as Jeannie, age 73, of Chatsworth, passed away Sunday, April 11, 2021, at Hamilton Medical Center.
She was a member of Branded By Christ Cowboy Church.
She was preceded in death by her father, Clarence Red Smithey; mother, Eva Mae Smithey; brother, David Russell Smithey.
Survivors include her sons and daughter-in-law, David and Lisa Gowens, of Chatsworth, and Alan Gowens, of Chatsworth; grandchildren, Adam Gowens, Courtney Green, Zack Mullins, Jonathon Ownbey; nieces, Casey Stafford and Taylor Hutnik.
Funeral services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Norma Jean Anderson will be held Wednesday, April 14, 2021, at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Mchan officiating. Interment will follow in Holly Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m.
