Mrs. Naomi D. Ray, age 79, of Chatsworth, passed away Thursday, December 24, 2020, at her residence.
Mrs. Ray was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Myrtle Hill; a grandson, Joseph Scott Ray; and several siblings.
Survivors include husband, Jim Frank Ray, of Chatsworth; sons and daughters-in-law, Billy & Sherri Ray and Jimmy & Linda Ray, all of Chatsworth; daughter and son-in-law, Angie & Tim Fowler, of Chatsworth; brother, Joe Hill, of Summerville, GA; grandchildren, Jason Fowler, Christopher Ray, Brittany Raye, and Jesse Ray; great-grandchildren, Kason, Brayden and Kyptin Fowler, Kensli and Payton Ray, and Raylyn Raye; extended family also survives.
Funeral services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Ray were held Monday, December 28, 2020, at 11 a.m. from the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Cochran officiating. Interment followed in the Chatsworth Heights Cemetery.
The family received friends Sunday from 5:30 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
To help prevent the spread of COVID-19, social distancing and masks were required. No food or beverages were allowed in the funeral home.
Peeples Funeral Home & Crematory of Chatsworth was in charge of the arrangements.
