Mrs. Kinma Hufstetler Bond


Kinma Hufstetler Bond of Chatsworth passed away Wednesday, November 10th, 2021 after a lengthy illness.
Mrs. Bond was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church of Chatsworth where she enjoyed singing in the choir. She was an educator and loved children, especially teaching them to read. Kinma began her career at Spring Place Elementary, teaching first grade. She later became the assistant principal at Spring Place, then became the first principal at the new Coker Elementary where she remained until her retirement.
Kinma was an active member of the ADK Sorority, and with all things associated with her church. She especially loved and enjoyed her grandchildren and encouraged them in all activities they participated in.
Kinma was the daughter of the late Arnold and Frankie Groves Hufstetler. She is survived by her husband, Byron Bond, sons, and daughters-in-law Brandon and Tollis Bond of Chatsworth. David and Alicia Bond of Cumming; grandchildren, Tyler and Emily Moss, Braedon Bond, Brylan Bond, Asher Bond, Andrew Bond, Ellis Bond, and Eden Bond.
She is also survived by her brother, Arnold Hufstetler, Jr. 
Kinma loved and was loved and cared for by her special caregivers. Freda Boring, Brandy White, and Tammy Willis. The staff of Heartlite Hospice was outstanding in their care for Kinma, and the family wishes to thank them also.
Service for Kinma Bond was on Sunday, November 14th. Visitation was from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. with the service at 3:00 p.m., in the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home, with the Rev. George Ross and Rev. Mark Carr officiating. Interment followed in Sumach Cemetery.
Peeples Funeral Home of Chatsworth was in charge of arrangements.
