Mr. Randy Lynn Rogers, age 65 of Ocoee, Tenn., left his earthly home for his heavenly home on Wednesday, January 12, 2022.
Randy was affectionately known as Pops by his grandchildren. He was an avid Tennessee Volunteers fan, loved spending time at the lake, and riding his Harley Davidson. He spent 30 years as a painter and built his own business, Rogers Painting.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy “R.L.” and Irene Rogers.
Survivors include his sweetheart, wife of 31 years, Tammy Hogan Rogers; three daughters, Christy O’Dell of Cleveland, Tenn., Kristy (Danny) Howard of Chatsworth, and Heather (Jeremiah) Ridley of Chatsworth; grandchildren, Madison “Pumpkin Head”, Ryleigh “Little Bit”, Reed, Haley, Joe, and Taylor, all of Chatsworth; aunts, Mildred (Curtis) Culberson of Englewood, Tenn. and Ollie Fain of Athens, Tenn.; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Emmett and Bobbie Hogan of Chatsworth; niece, Roxie Manis; several cousins and close friends also survive.
Funeral services to celebrate the life of Mr. Randy Lynn Rogers was held on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. from the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Cochran officiating. Interment followed from the Holly Creek Church cemetery.
The family received friends at the funeral home on Friday, January 14, 2022 from 5:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
