Mr. James F. “Jim” Crowe, age 78, of Chatsworth passed away Friday, February 5, 2021, at Hendersonville Medical Center in Hendersonville, TN.
Jim was a member of the Eton Masonic Lodge #509 F&AM; he was also retired from the US Forest Service following 31 years of service.
Mr. Crowe was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde Crowe and Lavada Moore Crowe; brother-in-law, Anthony Godfrey.
Survivors include wife of 58 years Becky Godfrey Crowe, of Chatsworth; daughter and son-in-law, Amanda and Jonathan Newlan, of Chatsworth; son, Jamie C. Crowe, of Chatsworth; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Valerie and David Holbrook, of Jasper, and Angie and Mike Jones, Tammy Caldwell, of Chatsworth; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Danny and Shellia Godfrey, Eugene and Tammy Godfrey, and Terry and Rebecca Godfrey, all of Chatsworth; three special little girls, Abby, Kathleen and Esme Caldwell; nieces and nephews also survive.
Private services to celebrate the life of Mr. Crowe were held in the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Lamar Beason officiating. Interment with Masonic graveside rites followed in the Cool Springs Cemetery.

To help prevent the spread of COVID-19, social distancing and masks were encouraged. No food or drinks were allowed inside the funeral home.
