Mr. Claude “Robert” Mantooth, age 90, of Crandall, passed away on Monday, April 19, 2021, at his home.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lucy Pullen Mantooth; parents, Lake and Hattie Mantooth; brother, Bennie Mantooth; and sisters, Mildred Mantooth Jackson, Jean Mantooth Lyles, and Will Dee Mantooth.
Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Brian Smith, of Crandall; brother, Charles Mantooth; granddaughters, Amy Smith and Whitney Smith; special daughter, Kaye Gladden; special friends, the Carlton Petty family; nieces and nephews; and several dear extended family members.
Funeral services for Mr. Mantooth were held at 2 p.m. on Friday, April 23, 2021, in the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with Brian Smith, Elder Kyle Green, and Elder Kelly Smith officiating. Interment followed at Calvary Cemetery.

The family received friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 5 until 8 p.m.
To help prevent the spread of COVID-19, social distancing and masks were encouraged. No food or drinks were allowed inside the funeral home.
