Mr. Calvin “Ben” Thomas Seay, age 75, of Chatsworth, passed away on June 12, 2021, at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
Mr. Seay was a member of the Mitchell Bridge Hunting Club.
He was preceded in death by his father, Carroll Seay; mother, Sylvia Rogers; brother, Carlos Seay; sister, Connie Busby; father-in-law, Clayton Pruitt; father-in-law, Grady James.
Survivors include his loving wife of 23 years, Priscilla “Jo” Seay; sisters, Carolyn Northern of Ore City, Texas, Cathy Jones of Wartburg, Tenn., Cynthia Vandergriff of Knoxville, Tenn., and Coleen Flower of Foreman, Ark.; brothers, Clarence Seay of Oliver Springs, Cecil Seay of Knoxville, Tenn., and Curtis Seay of Texas; mother-in-law, Willena Pruitt; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, AJ and Diane James, Karen and Buddy Anderson, Slick and Kay James, and Cindy and Tracey Pruitt; God children, Luke Brock, Phoenix Moore, and Griffyn Moore; nieces and nephews, Brooklyn Short, Jessa Short, Aiden Fleming, Brayden Fleming, Gavin Fleming, Amanda and Anthony Fleming, Chris Short, Jacob Pruitt, and several other nieces and nephews; special friend Mike Whiting and other special friends also survive.
A memorial service to celebrate the life of Mr. Calvin “Ben” Seay will be Wednesday, June 16, 2021, at 4 p.m. from the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby Green officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial contributions be made to the PHA Shriners.
