Mrs. Margaret Jane Redding, age 63 of Chatsworth, Ga passed away yesterday, on March 13th, 2023 at Murray Medical Center in Murray County. Jane was a member of Nine Mile United Methodist Church in Gilmer County.
She was preceded in death by her father, James Henry Fauscette, her mother-in-law, Xenia Redding, her sister-in-law, Debby Redding, and her father-in-law, Jack Redding.
Survivors include her husband, Jim Redding and her son and daughter-in-law, Coulter and Stephanie Redding, her daughter, Lee Redding, her mother, Josie Fauscette, brothers and sister-in-law Billy, Jeffery and Tina Fauscette, and Junior Fauscette, and sisters, Donna Van Dyke and Frankie Fauscette.
She is also survived by her two grandsons, Jack and Charlie Redding and several beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In life, Jane was a bubbly personality who seemed to leave those she touched with smiles on their faces and a story in their hearts. Jane loved the outdoors, gardening, traveling, riding bicycles, playing pickle ball, and watching her grandsons play on the beach. Above all, Jane’s love for her family shined through in every conversation.
A true “teacher” in every sense of the word, Jane believed that knowledge is power, and she did her best to share that light and her joy with children both in the classroom and beyond.
A memorial service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Margaret Jane Redding will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with Pastor Jodi Christianson officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, March 18, 2023 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.
