Judy Ann Leonard, age 77, of Chatsworth, passed away on Sunday, January 31, 2021, at Vanderbilt Medical Center.
She was a member of Center Valley United Methodist Church where she actively participated in the United Methodist Women’s Group, the Worship Committee, and the Administrative Board Planning Committee.
Judy was preceded in death by her father and stepmother, C.L. and Bill Hooker; mother, Alma Lyles; sister, Louise Sanford; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Aaron and Lecil Leonard; brothers-in-law, Sherman Leonard and Ron Plylar; and sister-in-law, Ima Jean Leonard.
Survivors include her husband, Jerry Leonard; daughter and son-in-law, Tonjua and Scott Humphrey, of Chatsworth; grandchildren, Christian, Faith, Anna Grace, and Mary Kate Humphrey; brothers and sisters-in-law, Virgil and Pat Hooker and Ray and Lisa Hooker, all of Chatsworth; brother-in-law, Charlie Sanford, of Chatsworth; brother-in-law, Ronnie Leonard; sisters-in-law, Joan Leonard Plylar, Cindy Leonard, and Peggy Leonard; nephews and nieces, Mitch and Teresa Sanford, Scott Sanford, Brad and Kelley Sanford, Eric and April Hooker, Mandi and Brian Lane, Kay and Donnie McCurdy, Sherri Leonard, Jeff and Isis Leonard, and Rhonda and Chris Harrison; and several great-nephews and great-nieces.
Private services to celebrate her life will be held in the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with Pastors Lathem Postell and Tommy Crider officiating. Interment will follow at Center Valley Cemetery.
