Mr. Joseph Monroe Bowers, age 74 of Chatsworth, passed away Saturday, February 18, 2023 at Advent Health Gordon.
He was preceded in death by his son, Joseph Andrew Bowers; mother, Arlene Phillips Bowers; father, Cosby S. (Frizz) Bowers; brother, Charlie Bowers.
Survivors include his son, Shane Bowers; daughter, Brittany Bowers; sister, Amelia Murray; a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. special niece, Julie Bowers; special nephews, Chris Bowers and Chris Elrod; former wife, Marcy Bowers Heatherly; special friend, Linda Crider.
Funeral services to celebrate the life of Mr. Joseph Monroe Bowers will be held Wednesday, February 22, 2023 at 2:00pm from the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with David Robinson officiating. Interment will follow at Sumach Cumberland Presbyterian.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 12:00pm until 2:00pm.
