Floyd Thomas Franklin Jr., age 81, of Chatsworth passed away on Thursday, September 8, 2022.
He was a member of the Chatsworth First United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd Thomas Franklin Sr. and Mary Moore Franklin, and his wife of 55 years, Julie Andrew Franklin.
Survivors include his son, Thomas Keith Franklin of Chatsworth; daughter and son-in-law, Julie and Bradley Ridley of Chatsworth; brother, William Franklin of Covington, TN; grandchildren, Justin Ridley (Ashley) and Ben Ridley (Jade); and great-grandchild, Grant Ridley.
Funeral services for Mr. Franklin will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, September 12, 2022, in the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Graham Arp officiating. Interment will follow at Chatsworth Heights Ceåmetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 10:00 am until the funeral begins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or to the Chatsworth First United Methodist Church.
