The Town of Eton will celebrate July 4 with a fireworks show on Friday, July 10, according to Town Clerk Kim Hall.
The show, which will be held at Eton City Park, was originally scheduled for June 26.
“The governor’s executive order said there were to be no events of this kind until after July 1,” said Hall. “That’s why we moved it.”
The show will be presented by East Coast Pyrotechnics and will last about 15 minutes.
The park will open at 5 p.m. There will be vendors and bounce houses for kids. The fireworks display will start at dark, according to Hall.
The band Social Folk will perform.
The town is asking everyone who attends to follow social distancing guidelines at all times.
Murray County last week announced its annual fireworks show has been moved to Friday, Oct. 16.
