Mr. Berllie Leon Greeson, 84, of Chatsworth, GA died January 30, 2023 at his home.
Berllie was the husband of Ruth Greeson and son of the late Roy and Iva Greeson. He was born June 18,1938 in Chatsworth and was the father of Jason (Shelle) Greeson of Auburn, AL and Phillip (Angie) Greeson of Dalton, GA and grandfather of Bennett (18), Gabriel (15), and Carter Greeson (15). Berllie worked in the telecommunications industry across North Georgia, Alabama, and Southeast Tennessee. He was an avid UGA football fan.
He is also survived by his sisters Carolyn Massengale Bozeman (George) of Chatsworth, GA and Velva (Jerry) Howell of Athens, TN as well as his sister-in-law Diana Greeson of Chatsworth.
He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, and their spouses Cleve Greeson, Mozelle Caldwell (H.R.), Howard Greeson, Rhett Greeson, and Winston Massengale, Sr.. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Funeral services to celebrate the life of Mr. Berllie Leon Greeson were held on Thursday, February 2, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Cochran officiating. Interment followed at Murray Memorial Gardens.
The family received friends at the funeral home on Thursday, February 2, 2023 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.
