Notice of Proposed
The Chatsworth Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing for consideration of a zoning classification of R-A Residential Agriculture requested by Billy and Karen R. Satterfield in an annexation application of a tract #2 containing 3.41 acres +/-acres into the City of Chatsworth, Georgia. The property is identified as parcel number 0048B 007 in the Murray County Tax Accessors Office, and is addressed as 926 Highway 52 Alt. into the City of Chatsworth, Georgia. The property is more specifically identified as follows:
All that certain tract of land, containing 3.41 acres of Land Lot No. 228 in the 9th District and 3rd Section of Murray County, Georgia, designated as “Tract 2”, according to a plat of survey prepared by Julie A. Cole, Georgia Registered Land Surveyor No. 2393, dated November 10, 2020, revised November 16, 2020, recorded in the office of the Clerk of the Superior Court of Murray County, Georgia , In Plat Book E2020, page 140, and said plat and the description set out therein are reference incorporated herein for a more particular description of said land.
At a public hearing comments from any person in regard to the requested zoning classification request will be heard, and thereafter the Chatsworth Planning Commission will deliberate and make a recommendation to the Mayor and Council and the City Chatsworth, Georgia as to its recommendation for zoning of said lands proposed to be annexed into the City Chatsworth, Georgia.
Any opponent to this proposed annexation/zoning action shall file a written disclosure statement with Chatsworth Planning Commission a minimum of five (5) days prior to the public hearing, concerning financial or material political contributions totaling $250 or more, made to one or more members of the Mayor and Council in the last two (2) years.
Members of the public are invited to attend this scheduled for Thursday, October 21, 2021 in the Council Chambers of the Chatsworth City Hall, 400 North Third Avenue, Chatsworth, Georgia at 6:30 p.m. and make their comments.
