Mrs. Lucy Pullen Mantooth went to be with the Lord Monday, December 23, 2019 following a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease. She went on to join some of her friends and relatives who have preceded her.
She was preceded in death by her loving parents, Melvin and Vallie Pullen; brothers, Eugene, Floyd and Thomas Pullen; sisters, Rachel Stafford, Lorene Dunn and Magdalene Cook; sisters-in-law, Hazel Pullen and Bessie Pullen; brothers-in-law, Ralph Stafford and Barney Gallman.
Surviving loved ones include husband, Claude Robert Mantooth of Crandall; daughter and son-in-law, Linda & Brian Smith of Crandall; granddaughters, Amy and Whitney Smith; brothers and sister-in-law, Howard Pullen of Chatsworth, James and Debbie Pullen of Crandall; sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary Lou Gallman of Chatsworth, Minnie Ruth and Billy Ballew of Chatsworth, Ann and Jerry Flood of Chatsworth; brother-in-law, Charles Mantooth; several nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.
Funeral services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Mantooth were held Friday, December 27, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Webb officiating. Interment followed in the Calvary Church Cemetery.
The family received friends Thursday December 26 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the Peeples Funeral Home.
