Mr. Bobby Wesley Croy of Chatsworth, passed peacefully away Thursday, August 15, 2019 at Gordon Hospital. He was born October 19, 1941 in Dalton Ga, son of the late Woodrow Wesley Croy and Laura Omajean Smith-Croy. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, James and John Croy, Floyd Smith and grandson, Justin Rosin. He proudly served his country in the United States Army.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Carol and their children and spouses, Donnis and Owen Golden of Spring City Tn., Michele and Stan Fulford of Centre Al., Russell and Rhonda Croy of San Antonio Tx., and Laura and Angela Sanders of Chattanooga Tn; brothers, Mike and Steve Croy of Tx.; sisters, Shirley Perkins and Pat White of Lubbock Tx.; six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A ‘Celebration of Life’ to honor him in love, was held Sunday, August 18 in Chatsworth, with many friends and family members in attendance. He was much loved and will be greatly missed.
A commemoration of his service to his country was held at the Chattanooga National Cemetery Thursday, September 5.
